Meet Richard
My deep connection to food, wine and hospitality began in the Yarra Valley, inspired by the growers, producers and family businesses I grew up around.
I trained as a chef in Melbourne and worked in hospitality before spending much of the 1990s in Margaret River, studying viticulture and working in wineries. Those seasons cultivated a lifelong love of wine and my fascination with how it is grown, made, shared and enjoyed.
After returning to Melbourne, I owned and operated several hospitality businesses before moving into career and business coaching. For more than fifteen years, I worked alongside entrepreneurs, regional businesses and community organisations, helping them strengthen operations, navigate change and build more resilient businesses.
Van Moves brings those experiences together. I understand the pressures of running a business, the importance of dependable suppliers and the trust involved in asking someone else to represent your brand.
Today, I provide the kind of delivery service I have always valued: responsive, careful, straightforward and accountable.
